Course Levels A1-C2

Elementary use of language (A1)

• Can understand and use familiar, everyday expressions and very simple sentences related to satisfying concrete needs.

• Can introduce themselves and others, asking and answering basic questions about personal information (e.g., where they live, who they know, what they own).

• Can communicate simply when the speaker speaks slowly and clearly and is willing to help.
   

Elementary use of language  (A2)

• Can understand sentences and commonly used expressions related to personal circumstances (e.g., personal information, family, shopping, work, surroundings).

• Can make themselves understood in simple, routine situations involving a direct exchange of information on familiar topics.

• Can describe their background, education, surroundings, and immediate needs in a simple way.

Independent language use (B1)

• Can understand the main points of clear, standard language on familiar topics (work, school, leisure time, etc.).

• Can handle most situations encountered while traveling in the language region.

• Can express themselves simply and coherently on familiar topics and areas of personal interest.

• Can report on experiences, events, dreams, hopes, and goals, and make short statements to justify or explain their views and plans.

Independent language use (B2)

• Can understand the main content of complex texts on concrete and abstract topics, including specialized discussions in their field.

• Can communicate spontaneously and fluently in a normal conversation with native speakers.

• Can express themselves on a wide range of topics clearly and in detail, explaining their position on current issues and indicating the benefits and drawbacks of various options.

Autonomous language ability (C1)

• Can understand a wide range of challenging, longer texts and grasp implicit meanings.   

• Can express themselves spontaneously and fluently without frequent searching for words.

• Can use the language effectively and flexibly in social, professional, or academic settings.

• Can make clear, structured, and detailed statements on complex topics and apply various means of text association appropriately.   

Autonomous language ability (C2)

• Can effortlessly understand practically everything they read or hear.

• Can summarize information from various sources, logically recounting reasons and explanations.

• Can express themselves spontaneously with high fluency and precision, conveying even the finer nuances of meaning in complex topics.
